Cable Bracing & Crown Support Systems
As trees mature they increase in size and complexity. As they grow their increased size can become more susceptible to wind loading and severe weather conditions. Sometime, pruning alone cannot compensate for any structural defects or weaknesses that may have developed in the tree. It is at this point that cable bracing can be considered as an option to support a structurally compromised crown form. Cable bracing acts as a supplementary support system for trees with mechanically weak or compromised canopy forms.
The Cobra® bracing system
Black Mountains Tree Consultancy can install non-invasive Cobra® bracing systems that cause no damage to the tree whilst providing structural support for the mechanically weakened sections of crown. The Cobra® bracing system is a dynamic tree support system specially designed to be flexible and shock-absorbing.
Black Mountains Tree Consultancy will install this system in the tree and will carry out a yearly safety check to make sure that everything is still in place and as it should be.
I also provide a service for propping and supporting trees from ground level. This might be in the form of a ground prop that could be used to support a collapsing Mulberry tree.
